I installed a 52-inch Hunter ceiling fan in the living room of a home in Punta Gorda, FL. The installation included running new wiring to the ceiling box, securing the fan bracket, and wiring the fan to an existing wall switch for easy control.
Installed two ceiling fans today: Hunter Casablanca Wisp 52" on back porch and Minka-Aire F844-DK Light Wave 52" in master bedroom. Used Arlington FB900 fan brace for porch installation and existing electrical box in bedroom. Wired fans with 14/3 Romex cable. Installed Lutron Maestro MACL-LFQ-WH fan/light dimmers for both. Balanced blades using Balco BTK-1 balancing kit. Secured mounting brackets with lag bolts. Tested functionality and airflow with Extech AN100 anemometer. Completed both installations in 4 hours, ensuring proper support and quiet operation.
